Onsite Facilities
Leisure building
Our leisure building is open daily 10am – 7pm all year around and are available free of charge to all guests staying at Black Hall Lodges. Newly renovated in December 2023, it's perfect for keeping everyone entertained.
The facilities a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room with a large window overlooking the Teme Valley.
For rainy days, our indoor games room includes a dart board, table tennis, table football, American Pool table, small soft play, books, games & puzzles.
Upstairs, we have a small gym with a rowing machine & exercise bikes. (Over 16’s Only)
There is also a viewing area overlooking the swimming pool.
Please note, all persons under the age of 18 must have adult supervision using these facilities.
Play areas
Central to the lodges, we have a communal outdoor children’s play park. This includes a slide, swing and baby swing.
There is also a picnic bench for those supervising their children.
A second play area is located behind reception which includes a ride on tractor area, children’s play area & a skittle alley.
Please note, all persons under the age of 18 must have adult supervision using these facilities.
Nature Walk
At Black Hall, we have a one-mile nature walk which takes you through woodland, fields, and streams, following arrows along the way.
It is not suitable for those with reduced mobility or pushchairs/wheelchairs.
Shops
Our nearest shop is in Knighton located 4 miles away, however essentials including Logs, Kindling, Charcoal and Disposable BBQ’s are sold onsite.
EV Charging
We currently do not have any onsite EV charging facilities. The nearest charge point is at Knighton Community Centre (4 miles away).
Please note, charging your EV directly from your lodge via a 3 pin domestic plug is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Our lodges do not have enough electrical capacity for this and makes our insurance on fires void.
